Grace Myanmar Fellowship was established on Oct 04, 2020 in Calgary by a group of believers in Jesus Christ originally from Myanmar.

Grace Myanmar Fellowship Canada was officially incorporated as a federally registered non-profit Christian organization on January 8, 2025, and is based in Calgary, Alberta. Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, its foundation is guided by the principles of grace, unity, and spiritual growth. The fellowship exists to create a nurturing environment for believers to worship, share testimonies, pray together, and grow in faith. Through its mission and vision, Grace Myanmar Fellowship seeks to be a beacon of God’s love in the community, encouraging active participation in worship, evangelism, charitable service, and spiritual development.

Our mission

Our mission is to foster a nurturing environment where believers are encouraged to gather in unity, share their life-changing testimonies, and support the work of the Kingdom through offerings and tithes. We are dedicated to creating a space where individuals can experience the power of prayer, both offering and receiving support, as we grow together in faith. Through our weekly gatherings, we aim to inspire each other, deepen our relationship with God, and extend His love and compassion to the wider community. In all we do, we seek to honor God, uplift one another, and be a source of light and hope in the world.

Our vision

Our vision is to cultivate a vibrant community of faith where every soul finds a sanctuary for spiritual growth and fellowship. We aspire to be a beacon of God’s love and grace, where the sharing of testimonies strengthens our bond, offerings and tithes reflect our commitment to God’s work, and collective prayer uplifts and intercedes for one another. Together, we journey towards deeper faith, unwavering hope, and boundless love, transforming lives and making a meaningful impact in the hearts of all we touch.

Statement of Faith

The fellowship's statement of faith encompasses the fundamental beliefs outlined below:

We declare with conviction that the Gospel represents the joyful revelation of God's path to salvation, achieved through the life, death, and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, accessible to all individuals.
We acknowledge that due to Adam's fall, everyone is born with a tendency and surroundings predisposed to sin, and anyone capable of making moral choices will inevitably commit sins. Such individual sin incurs the anger of a righteous God, disrupts our relationship with Him, leads to increasingly selfish and harmful behavior, results in death, and culminates in eternal damnation.
We hold that Christ's substitutionary punishment is the sole available and effective sacrifice for the sins of every individual.
We affirm that grace is God's generous decision to provide salvation for any person by taking all of the initiative in providing atonement, in freely offering the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit, and in uniting the believer to Christ through the Holy Spirit by faith.
We affirm that any person who responds to the Gospel with repentance and faith is born again through the power of the Holy Spirit. He is a new creation in Christ and enters, at the moment he believes, into eternal life.
We affirm that, in reference to salvation, election speaks of God's eternal, gracious, and certain plan in Christ to have a people who are His by repentance and faith.
We affirm God’s eternal knowledge of and sovereignty over every person’s salvation or condemnation.
We affirm that God, as an expression of His sovereignty, endows each person with actual free will (the ability to choose between two options), which must be exercised in accepting or rejecting God’s gracious call to salvation by the Holy Spirit through the Gospel.
We affirm that the Lord Jesus Christ commissioned His church to preach the good news of salvation to all people to the ends of the earth. We affirm that the proclamation of the Gospel is God's means of bringing any person to salvation.
